Able, Gifted & Talented Students

These students develop or have the potential to develop to a level significantly ahead of their year group.

● Gifted students have abilities in one or more academic subjects, such as English or maths.

● Talented students have practical skills in areas such as   sport, music, performing arts or design.

Skills like leadership, decision-making and organisation are also taken into account when identifying gifted and talented students.

We provide greater challenges in lessons and opportunities for pupils to develop potential gifts and talents. We also provide enrichment activities beyond the everyday timetable.

We hold special events for our AG&L students to encourage their progress and liaise closely with their families to personalise their development.
