    The Academy is one of 30 secondary schools across Britain which are trialling the use of vending machines for the sale of Heart Healthy snacks and drinks. The scheme is being run by the British Heart Foundation. The School Council was actively involved in the initial market research to choose suitable items for the machines. A small group of students worked after school with art and design and technology teachers to design Victory branding for the machines. The popularity of the machines...

  • Lord Lieutenant Visit

    3rd Feb 12
    The Lord Lieutenant of Norfolk, Richard Jewson, has paid an official visit to the Academy. Mr Jewson met Mrs de Souza and senior staff and was taken on a tour of the Academy, including maths, modern languages, humanities and science departments and the wildlife garden. Mrs de Souza said: “It was a great honour to have the Lord Lieutenant visit us, he took a close interest in what our students were studying. We all had a wonderful day.”...

Ms Truss, a member of the Justice Select Committee, met Mrs de Souza and senior staff and was taken on a tour of the Academy, including the English, Maths, French, History departments and the Beauty Salon.
