December Charity Events

We have lots of Charity Events organised with the academy for December to raise money for NCFC Community Sports Foundation, a sugar collection for the homeless shelter and Christmas Jumper Day to raise for money for Save the Children. Please find a list of the planned activities below:

Community Sports Foundation Charity Day – Friday 9th December

What is my money going to?

Norwich City Community Sports Foundation (CSF) helps over 38,000 people every year achieve their goals through sport, supporting some of the most disadvantaged, disabled and talented people across Norfolk. The Foundation’s vision is to help people achieve their goals by delivering quality, innovative services through football and sport. They help disabled and unable people to make their sports dreams come true.

Green and Yellow Accessory Day

Since we are raising money for the NCFC Sports Foundation, the 9th December is a day when you will be able to pay to wear green and yellow or NCFC football accessories on top of your uniform for 50p. You can wear:

  • Norwich City football shirt (Under your blazer)
  • Norwich City Football scarf
  • Hair clips / hair band
  • Gloves
  • Socks
  • Hat
  • Nail polish


On 9th December there will be a sweetshop on the ground floor at the stairs near Student Services where a range of sweets will be available to buy. There will be different types of sweets. Don’t miss your chance to get a bag!

Movie Night!

On Friday 9th December at 3pm there will be a movie night in the lecture theatre for Home Alone 2. Tickets are available from Student Service for £1.50. They will also be sold by our charity reps from Friday 5th December in form time. A small bag of sweets is included in the price but space is limited! Don’t miss your chance to get a seat!

Teacher’s Custard Eating Contest

On Friday 9th December, the charity pots will be on reception. Each pot will have one of the following 4 teacher’s faces on it:

  • Mr Ormerod
  • Mr Timm
  • Mr Bliss
  • Mr Warner

Put money in the charity pot of the teacher who you want to see eating cold custard with their face at the end of the day! The teacher with the most money in their pot will be eating a bowl of cold custard in the Atrium at 2:45pm! Who will it be? Put your money where your vote is!

The Big Raffle!

Raffle tickets are available at student services. They will also be sold in form time from 5th – 9th December

Prizes include:

  • A whole chocolate cake
  • Signed NCFC Merchandise

The Top Prize:

  • The winner of the top raffle prize will have the opportunity to pie Miss Bramble in the face with a cream pie! This will be after school in the atrium on December 9th! Buy a ticket and pie Miss Bramble!

Sugar Collection for the Homeless Shelter

Monday 12th-Thursday 15th December – please take to table opposite reception.

Save the Children – Christmas Jumper Day


Wear a Christmas Jumper under your blazer! Friday 16th December – 50p donations.
