A central principle underlying our pastoral system is that students are most likely to be successful academically if they are happy and secure in their school environment.
The Academy gives great weight to the importance of effective induction and on-going guidance for each student to ensure that our students are happy and successful.
We believe success is a three-way partnership between students, staff and parents/carers. Communication can be maintained through the use of the students’ planners on a weekly basis and we are always keen to address any issues which parents may have.
Should any child’s behaviour or progress become of concern to the tutor, we will ensure that parents/carers are consulted and the issues addressed as a partnership between the Academy and parents.
