Ormiston Victory Academy is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated historian. The successful applicant will join a highly professional team working within a thriving and ambitious academy and will be able to confidently deliver History and other humanities subjects.
Our history results at GCSE, AS and A-Level are a strength of the academy; with students performing well, above their expected progress and above the national average.
We are looking for a highly motivated teacher who:
• Is dynamic, innovative, self-motivated and able to inspire others
• Has the ability to teach across the age and ability range
• Is committed to raising standards of attainment and developing the success of the faculty
• Enjoys working as part of a team and demonstrates reflective practice through the high expectations they have of themselves and the students

This is a maternity cover position and it is expected to be until end of Dec 2024 or February 2025.
