The Sixth Form Team have carefully produced a Handbook for the benefit of students and parents, which outlines all of the procedures and support available within Sixth Form. Please take time to read through this carefully and do not hesitate to contact the Sixth Form Team if you have any queries regarding this. This will be published in Autumn 2022.
All students are expected to submit a dress code form at the beginning of Year 12.
Lord Nelson Sixth Form will target the 16–19 Bursary to ensure that it reaches students who face significant barriers to participating in education and will target funds to help the students in greatest need. In doing so we have a duty to ensure that the money is spent in ways which helps to break down the barriers and deals with the costs of being in education.
Applications for the 2019/20 academic year must be submitted in full by 30th September. Applications made after this date will be considered providing sufficient funds are available.

Once you have been awarded a bursary, you will need to complete the form below to order items you need.
If you would like to rent a locker within the Sixth Form Block, please complete a Locker Application Form and return payment to the Sixth Form Office.
It is important the Sixth Form Office holds up-to-date information about students, including parental contact information, so that the Sixth Form Team and teachers can get in contact with parents/carers when necessary. We therefore ask that at the beginning of each academic year, a Data Checking Sheet is completed for each student and returned to the Sixth Form Office. A copy of this can be downloaded below.
