New Assistant Principal Appointed
Ormiston Victory Academy is delighted to announce the appointment of our new Assistant Principal for Student Engagement, Miss Tilly Burrows.
Miss Burrows joins us from Sewell Park Academy, where she is the Assistant Principal for Behaviour, Safeguarding and Mental Health. Miss Burrows will be leading the pastoral team from September and introducing our new behaviour system which focuses on being ready to learn.
Miss Burrows said:
“I am absolutely thrilled to be your new Assistant Principal for Student Engagement from September and have been completely overwhelmed with how welcoming everyone has been so far! I’ve been a senior leader for 7 years so come with bags of experience, but I am certain that I will be learning lots from the fabulous Victory community. At school you’ll find me teaching Geography, telling awful (yet hilarious) jokes and spending time chatting to students (my favourite part!). Out of school you’ll find me eating, exercising to try to balance the eating and spending time with my family. I can’t wait to get started and feel incredibly lucky to be joining such an amazing school!”

“We are delighted to be welcoming Tilly Burrows to the team – she brings a wealth of experience and we look forward to working alongside someone who I know will bring both rigour and humour to our system of rewards and sanctions. Miss Burrows has some excellent plans already and I look forward to seeing them come to fruition.“
